Update
The weather in AZ is crazy...it's already around 30 out every day.

In other news I started excersizing today. I joined up at curves (for the accountability) and I'm gonna try and lose some of my winter weight and get back into shape. I kinda wanted to join a gym with Shawn (cause he's been making the same complaints I have) but he's not ready for it, and I like the atmosphere there.

In Other other news, we've bought the plane tickets, we'll be back in Ottawa the afternoon of the 14th (of April), staying in town for the 15th, and leaving for Halifax early morning of the 16th. On the way back we should be back in town on the 23rd (late at night probably) in town for the 24th, and back to AZ early afternoon of the 25th.

How well is the dog dealing with the heat?

He wasn't doing great at first because he had his winter coat on. He started blowing coat the beginning of February though. The main problem was that I was still taking him for longer walks, so he would need water again immediately when we came inside, and to go out again half an hour later.
I shortened the walks so he was just out to pee until he blew coat and now I'm working his walks longer and longer without overdoing it for him. He seems to be taking the heat fine now, just like during summer in Ottawa. He still prefers being inside where the air conditioner is though.

Heather you should of known better!

Be care full with taking him for "longer walks", because he will follow you till his heat explodes if he has to.

I know, I'm guaging his walks based on how much water he needs when we get back in. Taking him for longer walks during the morning and later at night, and shorter ones during the heat of the day.

You should be bringing water with you & not walking him in the heat of the day.

Cool! You go home on my birthday (The 24th). Maybe Dave and I can see you while you are down. :)
